Information For Tutors
Making Changes To Your advert
If you would like to make any changes to your advert then please just email
the webmaster, including your renewal date and advert location. However, if you
have moved, would like to revamp or make major changes to your advert then please
fill in the application form again. Just
select the "Update" option at the beginning of the form and ignore any requests for money (unless you have ordered something new).
Please include your renewal date (this is for security) and any comments you may have in the Feedback section at the end of the form.
Changes are free but, now that the site is busy, they cannot be guaranteed to be applied quickly. To keep costs down for everyone, please take care in the design of your advert and avoid requesting changes. The site is being developed to improve this situation.
You will receive an email once your advert has been updated. If you do not receive a reply then your advert has not been updated. It is OK to send friendly reminders.
Removing Your advert
If you would like your advert removed from the site then you need to request one of two options:
Suspension or
Closure of your account
If your account is closed then you will have to re-apply and pay again to advertise on the site. If your advert is suspended then you can have it returned to the site at any time before your renewal date.
The resource page currently has examples of signs (in word format) which you can use to advertise in local businesses.
As well as Philip White's guide to "Profitable Tutoring", there is some general advice for tutors available plus a FAQ for tutors which covers questions on A+ Tutors, general tutoring questions and questions on creating your own website . I would like to expand the FAQ so
if you have any questions or contributions then please
send them on.
